Your data never leaves Europe, is never processed by US-based companies, and is never used for advertising or product training. There are no Schrems II complications, no Standard Contractual Clauses required, and no surprises during an AVG audit. We are registered in the Netherlands and operate under the authority of the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

XeniaCloud is built mostly on open-source software — Nextcloud, Stalwart Mail, and others. You are never locked in.

The Free plan is free forever — no credit card required, no time limit. It's a genuine plan, not a trial. You can take your time, test everything, and upgrade when you're ready. Upgrades take effect immediately.

Yes, at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Your data is yours. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Before your account closes, you can export everything — files, emails, calendar, contacts — in standard open formats that work with any other provider. We will never hold your data hostage or make export difficult. After the grace period, your data is permanently deleted from our servers.

Yes. All plans generate a VAT invoice automatically. The Team plan is specifically designed for business use.

Every account — including Free — gets a personal mailbox in the format yourname@xeniamail.eu. On Plus, Home, and Team plans, you can also connect your own domain (e.g. jan@jouwbedrijf.nl). On Free and Solo, a custom domain is available as a €1/mo add-on.

Yes. Custom domain email is included from the Plus plan onwards. On Free and Solo, you can add it for €1/mo. Once connected, you can create unlimited email aliases on that domain — think info@, support@, noreply@ — at no extra cost. Setup requires pointing your domain's MX record to mail.xeniacloud.eu. We'll guide you through it.

The Home plan gives every member their own personal mailbox (up to 5 people), plus one shared family inbox — a single address (e.g. family@xeniamail.eu or info@yourdomain.nl) that everyone can access and send from. The Team plan works the same way: one personal mailbox per user, plus one shared team inbox. Both work with any standard email client over IMAP. Additional shared inboxes are available for €1/mo each. Need more than 5 people on a Home plan? Just get in touch — we handle extra seat requests on a case-by-case basis.

Both are browser-based office editors that let you create and edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files without Microsoft Office. Collabora (included on all plans) is open-source, privacy-first, and works well for most everyday documents. OnlyOffice (included on Team, available as a €1/mo add-on on all other plans) has closer compatibility with Microsoft's formatting — useful if you frequently exchange complex documents with clients or partners who use Microsoft 365.

Yes. XeniaCloud works with the official Nextcloud apps for iOS and Android — available for free in the App Store and Google Play. You get automatic photo backup, file sync, calendar and contacts sync, and access to Talk for calls and chat, all from your phone.
